Well, in fact, we is me.  Bruce Ricketts.

I am a high tech entrepreneur based in Ottawa, although I have worked in all parts of Canada (and traveled to most of the world) and lived in four provinces.  I started MoC because my kids wanted to learn more about Canada than was being taught to them in school.  I think that goal has been achieved.

I am married to a saint with kids, grandkids, grandcats and a raging bout of arthritis, not to mention the three arterial stents that are helping to keep me alive.  Life is wonderful.

Mysteries of Canada started as a hobby, morphed into an obsession and then back into a hobby.  I am a student of Canada.  I read continuously and question everything.  There never can come a time when I can say I know everything about a subject because, as with all history, new information comes to light that needs to be investigated.

I hope you enjoy Mysteries of Canada as much as I enjoy it.  I hope you learn something and constantly ask questions.  You will find that life can be fulfilling and fun, when you so do.
